The Future of Packaging is Here

The other day I encountered a pack of Pure & Natural bar soap. The first thing I noticed is the distinct packaging. It is impregnated with Baby's Breath seeds. After taking the soap out, you can bury the package, and in a couple of months, have a nice bloom. Since we buy the soap often, I might keep burying the packages in the same area, eventually making a Pure & Natural garden. This is the type of responsible, eco-effective behavior that William McDonough envisioned in Cradle to Cradle: truly recyclable packaging that actually benefits our environment, instead of harming it.

Kudos to Pure & Natural for making a great product, and an even better by-product. I will definitely be a loyal customer. Pure & Natural can be found at Target and other large retailers, as well as on the web: pure-natural.com
